There seems to be more activity in the signs leading up to today, but there were some very specific signs today that I will share with you.
A rainy day and no breeze to speak of for the smell to be so strong was unusual.
This week we have been seeing quite a few dragonflies. It started when my wife went to pick up tickets for the high school graduation. This is Sarah’s graduating class and they are going to have a moment of silence during the ceremony.
This is the year Sarah would have graduated. She participated in theater and chorus. Last year we started a memorial scholarship at the high school for the graduating class. Today is the day that this year’s scholarship was given out. Since everyone is social distancing and the usual scholarship ceremony would not happen. Here as some picture that my bird camera took on this day.

I was feeling a little sad this morning for some reason. My wife had texted me that a cardinal had been on the side of the road and flew right in front of the car as she was driving down the street. Sitting on the side like it was waiting for her. I had walked… Continue reading Mockingbird Comfort
On the 1 year anniversary of her death (April 26th), Sarah’s friends and classmates released balloons at exactly 11:11 a.m. in remembrance. The older couple on the right are the parents of one of her choirmates who was deeply affected by her death. A few of them also left balloons at her columbarium after school.… Continue reading Anniversary Balloon Release
