First I will apologize for the pictures. I had a horrible time with picture taking for some reason – maybe the tears in my eyes.

I wanted to sit outside but it was raining. I decided to sit in the garage with the door up in the back of my car.

As soon as the door went up a female cardinal landed on the driveway, looked at me and flew overhead to the roof and then over to the position of the first picture. A minute later a male cardinal landed on a chair to my left about 6ft away and flew to a tree in front of me. He flew off before I could get a picture.

Various mockingbirds and what I think was a catbird were all around me for about a half an hour.
