Yesterday afternoon (6/30/18) I purchased and put up his bird feeder. We have bears in the area so I rigged up a branch hanger and a steel cable to raise and lower it so the bears can’t get to it.
I was able to sit outside for about an hour watching the activity and the most noticable visitors to the feeder were 4 breeding male American Goldfinches (Identification link below).
