I was doing a lot of work outside and hear the constant chatter of cardinals. In the middle of my project I was looking out into the backyard and at the far end I saw what looked to be a large silhouette of a bird which turned out to be a turkey vulture. I got my binocular camera and as I was getting it sighted in a cardinal (in the orange circle) flew up close (probably 5 or 6 feet from the vulture). It is a couple of hundred feet away so there isn’t much detail.
Earlier in the day I got a video of a downy woodpecker on the suet feeder.
And a few days before that my daughter got this nice shot of a cardinal next to the driveway.
