As I was leaving the house this hawk ( I believe it is a Red Tailed Hawk) flew over and perched on this wired right in front of me, only about 50 feet from my driveway. It also struck me as probably a juvenile.

It stayed on the wire as I drove up to/below it and didn’t really moved while I grabbed a couple pictures.

It eats mostly rodents and I hope it leaves the birds alone that visit my feeder. It was facing the opposite way so it wasn’t interested in hunting them at this time.
