When three of us left to go to the cemetery we got about 5 houses away and there was a female cardinal in the road blocking our path. It got so close to the car I couldn’t see it until I backed up and it hopped off the road. There was a male cardinal in the yard next to the road staring at us.

When we were on our way there we had a couple of birds fly close to the car.

When we returned there was a male cardinal in the drive way blocking our way. It slowly hopped off onto the side of the driveway.

This all happened within the last few hours so I wanted to write it here while it was still fresh in my mind.
