I was stopping at a Rural King to buy bird seed as I was completely out. As I approached the bird products aisle there were 4 birds that were in the aisle and stayed close by for a few minutes while I shopped.

My wife was just getting ready to go out the door when she spotted this fella and called me over with the camera. Unfortunately the camera battery died before I could get any more pictures.
This Indigo Bunting had been seen for a few days and this is the first picture I had gotten of it. Absolutely beautful and very calming. It is a member of the cardinal family. Sorry the pictures aren’t very sharp. This was a very special treat and I haven’t seen it since.

This is the first time I have spotted what I believe to be an Eastern Towhee. It’s hard to see the eyes which should be red in this picture. Below are the other birds I was able to get pictures of this morning.
